Teacher Team Partners
To qualify for the Teacher Team Partners program, applicants must be employed as a pre-K through grade 12 teacher in a South Carolina classroom serving students with a poverty index of 60% or higher as calculated by the SC Department of Education. Teacher Team Partners are provided free tools and ongoing professional development, and technical assistance with all aspects of family engagement planning, implementation and evaluation from a CFEC Regional Liaison.
To encourage more teachers to adopt evidence-based family engagement practices in their classrooms, CFEC provides stipends to teachers who successfully implement and report on the results of a family engagement plan for their classroom. Family engagement plans must include desired goals and outcomes, evidence-based practices, a plan to evaluate outcomes, and a letter of support from the principal or lead administrator. The Teacher Team Partners program is a two year commitment.
