The Carolina Family Engagement Center with financial support from the SC Department of Education is establishing Community Family Resource Centers in strategic locations across the state. CFEC Regional Family Engagement Liaisons have been working with their partner schools to identify local community organizations and businesses that would be willing to host a family resource center in their establishment. The goal of the Community Family Resource Centers is to provide high quality information and connection to resources for families to support their children’s learning and development. They have been strategically sited in locations where families already travel to access essential goods and services. The following sites plan to open spring 2022! 

-Oakland Baptist Church in Rock Hill 

-Mobile Bus in Charleston 

-Community Center in Charleston  

-Exxon Food Mart in Anderson 

-Walhalla Public Library in Oconee 

-Laundromat in Manning  

-Paxville Community Development Center in Manning
