The Carolina Family Engagement Center (CFEC) is a strong advocate for strengthening family-school-community partnerships. As a Center, serving South Carolinian's statewide educational interests, we ask that you consider donating to support our work. Your gift would allow us to further our engagement in classroom partnerships with teachers, district level partnerships with schools, as well as various community partnerships with agencies that serve our most vulnerable populations. 

CFEC is currently engaged in various other initiatives to support parent leadership, establishing statewide community family resource centers, and sharing best practices on family engagement across sectors. Family Engagement Kits with the SC State Library

The South Carolina State Library in partnership with the Carolina Family Engagement Center (CFEC) have developed a series of three family engagement kits (e.g., self, family, community), each of which is designed to help give parents and caregivers ideas on how they can use fun activities at home to support their children's social, emotional, and academic development (SEAD).   

Each family engagement kit requires certain items that not all families may have on hand to fully engage in the suggested activities. Any financial support you can provide in the purchase of the following items is appreciated.
