Enhancing Family Engagement in the Classroom
South Carolina teachers interested in family engagement efforts are encouraged to apply to be a CFEC Teacher/Teacher-Team partner for the 2020-2021 school year! Applications now open - deadline Sunday, April 12, 2020.
Beginning in August 2020, Pre-K to 12 teachers and teacher teams from schools with a poverty index of 60% or higher* will develop, implement, and evaluate a classroom family engagement plan that uses evidence-based and culturally-responsive practices. Utilizing tools, technical assistance, and ongoing professional development from CFEC, these Partners will emerge with enhanced parent-teacher partnerships focused on improved student learning and development.
